We want the people we serve to understand exactly where each provider is in their professional journey. Licensure is not currently required for counselors practicing in Thailand, but CCF still prioritizes professional licensure for our providers. Fully-licensed counselors have completed a graduate degree in counseling, accrued thousands of hours of closely-supervised clinical practice, and passed required examinations. Then, in addition to ongoing oversight at Cornerstone, counselors are subject to a licensing board and often also a professional organization, providing additional oversight if a client has a concern or complaint. Our Counseling Residents are providers who have completed their graduate degree and are actively working toward full licensure under close clinical supervision. Our Counseling Interns are graduate students completing supervised hours as part of their Master's degree in counseling.
