Angkarin (Tik) Pimpaeng, MA, LCPC

Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

About

Tik was born and raised in Chiang Rai, Thailand.  She attended Chiang Mai University for her Bachelor of Arts in English. After graduating from CMU, Tik spent 5 years in full time ministry with Youth With A Mission in Maui, Hawaii.  Upon returning to Chiang Mai in 2010, she worked with community-based education under International Sustainable Development Studies Institute (ISDSI). In 2016, she received the Billy Graham Scholarship for International Christian Leaders to pursue her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wheaton College in the US.  Because of her experiences with overseas mission, international students, and the Thai community, she recognized the need for developing Christian mental health in Thailand. Thus, Tik decided to join Cornerstone as a part-time counselor in August 2018. Her desire is to provide a safe space in the process of working toward hope and healing.

Tik has variety of interests. She enjoys a good cup of coffee and a good book on a quiet day. She also enjoys hiking, kayaking, running, swimming and spending time in nature.
