OUR VISION

Embodying hope and healing to empower others towards greater wholeness and reconciliation with self, others, and God — locally to the people of Thailand, globally to Christian workers

OUR MISSION

Cornerstone Counseling Foundation primarily serves Christian workers throughout Asia and the people of Thailand.

We provide confidential and professional counseling, consultation, and training from a Christian perspective for individuals, marriages, families, teams, and organizations.

I am so overwhelmed with thankfulness for this place. I really felt alone and trapped in my struggles. These counselors are so approachable, non-judgmental, professional, and really present the options to you in an easy-to-understand, psychological & biblical way. I feel like I’m leaving with a better understanding and a plan for moving forward.

OUR CORE VALUES

W

GOD-DEPENDENCE

We know that we need God to lead us, teach us, and to bring healing into people’s lives through what we offer. We recognize that we are called to tasks beyond our human capacity or resources, and we trust God to accomplish what we cannot.

W

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT & EXCELLENCE

We purpose to honor God, one another, and the people we serve by continuing to learn and grow in our professional roles. Our goal is not perfection but rather a commitment to pursue professional best practice in our clinical and support roles. We recognize the importance of all the role represented on our team.

W

CONFIDENTIALITY

We value our clients’ right to privacy as a means of creating an atmosphere of trust. We adhere to our professional code of ethics which includes protecting our clients’ confidentiality.

W

Faith-Practice Integration

We seek to provide services from a Christian worldview in which psychological concepts are rooted in and integrated with biblical theology to meet the needs of the whole person.

W

LOCAL AND GLOBAL VISION

We believe that as a Thai foundation, God has called us to serve and train local people and global workers serving throughout Asia and beyond. We recognize the synergy in serving together as a multi-national team addressing mental health needs in both population groups.

W

CULTURAL COMPETENCE

We believe that recognizing cultural differences is not enough. We are committed to learning about and honoring one another as unique persons from richly diverse cultures, believing that our differences are a gift that make our work better and help us all to grow.

W

RELATIONAL CONNECTION

We believe that healing and growth happens in the context of relationships. We are committed to relating authentically and sincerely with one another and the people we serve.

W

DIGNITY OF THE WHOLE PERSON

We see our clients and one another as whole persons whose physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and relational needs are all important. We respect the value and dignity of all people as created in God’s image.
